Dream plays an important role in one's own life. Our dreams become our goal, our goal is spelt out in words, our words become our actions, Our actions become our success and Success fulfills our dream. We get both good and bad dreams. But we must understand that the good dreams are from God and bad dreams are from the evil spirit.
In the Bible and in the life of the saints we see God speaking to them in their dreams. For example Noah, Jacob, Samuel, St. Joseph, Mother Mary, St. Maria Mazzarello, Don Bosco and so on. God chose these people not because of their skills or talents, but because of their pure and child-like heart. God chose Don Bosco to be the father and teacher of poor and abandoned youth. In Don Bosco‘s life, at the age of nine, he spoke to God and our Blessed Mother in his dream. Often Don Bosco saw God‘s plan in his dreams.
Don Bosco‘s dreams brought him and his boys closer to Jesus and Mother Mary. If we reflect on our life, we often give more importance to worldly pleasures, which give us bad dreams and all kinds of evil thoughts. Therefore let us try to be pure like Don Bosco. So that our thoughts, words and actions will be holy. Thus automatically our dreams will incline to-wards Jesus and our Blessed Mother.
