Live your Dream!

I remember teachers yelling at me for dreaming in the class. If you have also received such a comment, please don‘t stop dreaming but start living. The dream I am talking about is not the dream we get most nights, is what you want to do. Dream is like a map pointing to a ship waiting for you to take it. For your dreams to come in to reality I can offer some advice. The first key is you need to let go as the ship needs to let go of the hold of the harbor. You need to let go your past experiences of success and failures, praises and embarrassment etc. Once you let go your past experience the journey begins and the person who gave the map starts fading away. As you look back the harbor which was holding the ship starts diminishing. When you let go of the past you need to hope for a better future which will help you in the long run. When you begin to live, there will be storms i.e. difficulties. Don‘t get hit by storms; try surviving because after every storm there is calmness. In the midst of these storms take one step at a time and choose the right route because the choices you make today will determine your future.

That‘s why I choose to live and work towards my dreams rather than only dreaming in class. So next time when someone tells you not to dream be grateful to them because they are telling you to live the dream.
